God's Thoughts and Ours When the world experiences unprecedented crises, people seek answers. Do you know anyone with all the answers? Even as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we do not have all the answers to the woes in this life. But we certainly do know important answers concerning God, man, sin, and salvation in Christ alone. Sometimes we ask why God allows such events to occur. We as believers take consolation knowing God has all the answers. And He is our Heavenly Father who loves us. If we think we have God figured out, He humbles us, as He told Isaiah: “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD.” (Is.55:8) God lets us know what we need to know. Though we often want to know more, we will have to wait for Christ's coming when we will be like Him. 1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. |
