IGod's providence All of us at some time have heard someone say, “God, in His providence…”. The providence of God is a wonderful truth especially for believers. To understand providence it is best to compare it to miracles. A miracle is when God suspends natural law to do something outside of natural law. God supernaturally invades time and space. He acts in a divine way that has no human explanation. These include things like walking on water, healing the sick, and raising the dead. Providence is greater than miracles. Let me explain. In providence God accomplishes His own end, not by suspending natural law, but by taking all the elements of natural law and blending them together. God achieves His purpose, but never interrupts the natural and normal course of things. This is a far more massive miracle than suspending natural law and acting. Everyday we see God's providence. It is a different providence everyday. When we say, wow, how did that happen? How did those circumstances come together to bring it to this point? Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
